Policies & Services

  TRIAL SESSION:  A complete hair & makeup session will be provided, giving you the chance to preview how you will look on your wedding day.

TRAVEL:  All makeup & hair services are done at the location of the client's choice.  There is no charge for travel for the first 30 miles.  After 30 miles, a fee of  37 cents per mile, roundtrip, will be added to the final bill. 

SECURING A DATE:  All agreements must be made in writing.  No date is secure without a signed contract and deposit.  We receive hundreds of wedding inquiries a year and due to the amount of inquiries we receive we can not possibly accommodate every party.  Therefore, bookings are on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be made upon receipt of your deposit and signed contract only.  We do not "hold" dates.  If you wish to have your date "held" while you decide on services, we suggest you make a deposit to hold your date. 

ADDITIONAL ARTISTS:  For large parties, an additional artist may be necessary and will be brought in at the discretion of the artist and at no charge to the client.  However, if a second artist must be brought in at the client's request due to timing issues a fee of $100 will be charged to the client for the additional artist. 

DEPOSIT:  A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold a wedding date and will be applied to the final bill.  If a client decides, for any reason, to cancel makeup or hair services the deposit is non-refundable.  A deposit can only be applied to wedding day services.

PARKING:  Any parking fees will be at hotel valet rate and will be added to the final bill. 

MINIMUM SERVICE FEE:  A minimum service fee, for the bride, of  $300 applies for all bookings.  Bookings for bridesmaids and other guests will only be made if the bride has already booked "Hair & Makeup" with Sherrie Long Hair & Makeup.

HOLIDAY RATES & CLIENT REQUESTS:  Rates may increase depending on the special needs or requests of the client.   Holiday bookings may be slightly higher in price than the standard rates.

PAYMENT:  Final payment for services will be collected on the day of the event and should be made out only to Sherrie Long.  Any payments made are non-refundable.
