Hair for a Cause is a national public service organization supported by individual and corporate donors to help women offset appearance-related changes from cancer treatment. Our generous donors provide the remarkable confidence and enthusiasm to patients battling cancer and make the Hair for a Cause organization so meaningful to so many. It is our honor that such an inspiring, impressive group of talented individuals choose to give their time and caring on so many levels. In fact, dozens of Cosmetologists & Media On-Set Hairdressers and other volunteers participate in Hair for a Cause programs each year. With such a profound result, the Personal Care Products Council recognized the opportunity for its industry to help more women maintain self-esteem and face cancer treatment with greater confidence. It's unpleasant to think about and can be difficult to experience. Yet coping with hair loss is often part of living with cancer.

If you are a Cosmetologist or a Media Hair Dresser and would like to donate, Hair for a Cause accepts wig and hair piece donations to help provide a positive self image for those battling cancer. All donations will be distributed to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org
